LA Ska Punks, Isolated Victims, Release New Music, Plan Australian Tour

Isolated Victims
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

A staple in the DIY Los Angeles music scene since 2003, Isolated Victims blend ska, punk, rocksteady and hardcore.

After a 2016 spent recording a new album, the Inglewood originals have released the first single lifted from the record: 'Joke's On You'.

“We wanted to try something different, incorporate different sounds and a have a lot of tempo changes to make it unique,” vocalist Frank says.

“I used to work at a library at the audio visual department. I was watching 'Dark Knight' and that's when I wanted to write a song about the Joker; his way of chaos inspired me to write his philosophy.”

With a Japanese tour planned for 2017, Isolated Victims will also make their way to Australia for the first time. “At the end of the year, we are going to Australia for the first time ever; very excited to tour with Alla Spina.”
