Wollongong will soon welcome a new live music venue – La La La's – brought to you by local promoters Yours & Owls.
Part dive bar, part live music and arts space, the 150-capacity space marks a new chapter for Wollongong, with former UoW UniBar manager Nathan Stratton at the helm. "It'll have pinball, pool and a relaxed pub feel," Nathan says.
"We're also focussed on making sure it's got just a hint of them small bar vibes. We're calling it a small pub and we're pretty keen to build that kind of community around it."
Offering live music, tasty food and great booze, La La La's officially opens mid-November with local four-piece Totty alongside OK Hotel, Left Side Filter and Kim's Laundry.
The rest of the year is already booked out with a full programme of events, including Rad's takeover, The Pinheads takeover, Luen and her female DJ workshop, Pissfart Records takeover and Music Farmer's 15th birthday with Shining Bird plus special guests.
