With Slipknot's only Knotfest sideshow, in Adelaide, already sold out, Knotfest organisers have added a stack of new sideshows to the 2025 gig calendar.
The new run of concerts includes dates with A Day To Remember, BABYMETAL, Slaughter To Prevail, Within Temptation, Enter Shikari, Hatebreed, Miss May I, Vended and Sunami (scroll down for specific dates-venues)."The sideshows you've been asking for. . . Melbourne and Brisbane we are excited for our first ever Australian headline shows this March," declares Within Temptation. There won't be any rest for Hatebreed who play a trio of sideshows: "Off day shows from Knotfest announced!"
While Enter Shikari will be visiting three new places to perform live: Sunshine Coast, Belgrave (in Melbourne) and Newcastle. "AUSTRALIA! Three intimate sideshows in places we've never played before!"
Miss May I are equally charged to headline their own concerts while down under. "Melbourne and Sydney! We're stoked to announce two intimate headline shows this March ❤️." Lastly, Vended have extended their visit. "❗️AUSTRALIA❗️ We're stoked to announce two headline shows this March. . . We'll also be supporting Slipknot in Adelaide."
Metal music-loving stand-up comic Luke Severeid is also set to head down under all the way from Seattle as part of Knotfest, interviewing bands at the festival and also performing his own sideshows.
"I'm going to Australia to yell some jokes in March! This has been in the works for a while now and I'm so GD stoked to finally be able to tell all of you about it," shares Luke.
"I'm going to be there the same time as KNOTFEST which isn't just a fun coincidence, so I'll be able to finally find out once and for all if the circle pits spin the same way in both hemispheres or if that's just a myth like the toilet thing."
Tickets to all sideshows on sale from 9am (local time) on 28 January.

Luke Severeid is a hill-hiking, metal music-loving, chrome-dome-having stand-up comedian from Seattle. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest with the plaids and IPA-fuelled husk to prove it, he has spent the last decade yelling jokes all over North America (and soon: THE WORLD).Luke's comedic style has been described as insightfully idiotic, aggressively absurd, and most accurately, unmedicated ADHD in action. Besides looking identical to your favourite bouncer and or bass player, Luke was also recently in the Big Sky Comedy Festival, a semifinalist in both the Seattle and San Francisco International Comedy Competition, and a winner of Best Comedy Film at HUMP!
