Fresh from scoring another #1 album in Australia (their fourth in a row) for their just released new studio record 'The End, So Far', metal-alternative icons Slipknot are bringing their festival event experience, Knotfest, to east-coast Australia (Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane) in 2023.
And they're hosting a who's who of the heavy, metalcore world including Aussie legends Parkway Drive, American seminal thrashers Megadeth, heavy metal lords Trivium, Sydney's prog metalcore mainstays Northlane and Swedish melodic death metal worshippers Amon Amarth. Then there's fellow Swede metallers In Flames, American hardcore punks Knocked Loose, Canadian heavy metallers Spiritbox, American post hardcore, pop punks Story Of The Year, American metalcore outfit Bad Omens, and English heavy metal band Malevolence.
There's also local talent Alpha Wolf and Void Of Vision.
Already staged in eight countries including the US, Japan, Mexico, Germany, Colombia, and Brazil, Knotfest is designed as an immersive, unforgettable 'dark carnival experience'.
The event provides punters with an IRL experience of Slipknot's apocalyptic underworld featuring stunning visuals, fire breathers and nightmarish creatures on stilts.
Tickets on sale from 9am EDT on 3 November.
