King Stingray Australia 2024 Tour

King Stingray

Off the back of recent single 'Through The Trees', Yolŋu surf rock band King Stingray are set to release another new song ahead of a run of regional tour dates.

The 'Milkumana' and 'Get Me Out' live favourites will drop 'Best Bits' next Wednesday (29 May) before the Arnhem Land-based group head east for a run of live shows throughout July-August.

The 11-date tour will visit Castlemaine, Frankston, Torquay, Byron Bay, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Coffs Harbour, Newcastle, Wollongong and Canberra before returning home for a free concert at Nhulunbuy in northeast Arnhem Land as part of East Arnhem Live festival. Singer-songwriter Jem Cassar-Daley will join the east-coast tour as the main support artist.

"'Best Bits' is a song about all the best parts of life all poured into one moment," King Stingray share about the song, which you can pre-save. "Inspired by a particular moment in time, a particular day that had all the right ingredients.

"It's about those ripper-of-a-day type moments, those warm days in the sunshine with your mates, with your family or a loved one. The memorable days that just seem to stick with you.

"It's about simple living in a complex digital world, and although it can be hard to articulate in just a few words, a feeling that is so massive and profound. Sometimes all the best bits of life are already all around us. Yo manymak!"

Tickets are on sale.
