Situated in the rolling Bambra hills in regional Victoria (90 minutes south-west of Melbourne), Meadow returns to the music festival calendar over the ANZAC long weekend (23-25 April) having been forced to push back their 2020 event (due to it being 2020).
Event organisers have kept 2020-confirmed artists Close Counters, Surprise Chef, Elizabeth, Cool Sounds, 3K, Sweet Whirl, Darcy Justice and Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys on the bill for 2021, adding headliner acts King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard and Angie McMahon who'll lead an all-Australian line-up traversing all corners of the music landscape.Other artist additions are HTRK, Mimi Gilbert, Romero and Emma Volard. That's 14 artists, 2 sunsets, 2 sunrises, dancing, cocktails, camping and more captured live from the Bambra Bowl.
A limited release of 200 tickets to the 2021 event sold out within hours of going on sale this morning. "Faster than the speed of light. . . Ltd Release Tickets have sold out," Meadow posted to Facebook.
"Keep an eye on our social channels for updates. If it's safe to do so, and the COVID-19 conditions in Victoria remain stable, we'll be putting more tickets on sale in March."
However, in keeping with the current times, Meadow have introduced a virtual showcase of the 2021 festival (to be streamed 7-9 May) partnering with Hutch Collective and Baked to beam a dusty Autumn sky, rugged bushland and a once in a year-time musical retreat back to the comfort of your living room. Virtual tickets are still available.
Meadow 2021 takes place at Bambra (Victoria) 23-25 April.
