After smashing Coachella and Bonnaroo earlier this year, having released another sublime album of dubby surf rock and psych-groove funk in the form of 'A La Sala', Khruangbin return to Australia early 2025.
The Houston, Texas, trio will headline concerts in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney late February, early March – and they're bringing two-piece Hermanos Gutiérrez, the instrumental guitar duo of Swiss-Ecuadorian brothers Alejandro and Estevan Gutiérrez.The trio of bassist Laura Lee Ochoa, drummer Donald 'DJ' Johnson, Jr., and guitarist Mark 'Marko' Speer released 'A La Sala' – their first album in four years, which translates 'to the room' in Spanish) – in April; it features the songs 'May Ninth', 'Pon Pon' and 'A Love International'.
Hermanos Gutiérrez's new album, 'Sonido Cósmico', was released in June and was produced by Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys).
