Like a politician at election time, two of Australia's most talked about MCs — Kerser and Rates — have announced a regional tour.
Rather than promoting a policy, though, the siblings are promoting Rates' debut album, Destroy And Rebuild. The turbulent past few years of his life have seen him in and out of psych wards, and running in and out of trouble with the law. All of his struggles come through on the album, as he pulls back the curtain on his innermost thoughts and experiences.
If that sounds a bit soft for you, you'll be pleased to know the album boasts solid features including Sydney king Kerser, Jay (uf), and Geelong's Fatty Phew. Production comes from Discourse, Tornts, Nebs, Elliot Waite, Geko and Seven Six.
Rates and Kerser have the following dates left on their regional tour:
Sat Jul 27 — Fowlers Live (Adelaide) (w/ Classic Example, Lariken, Edukate)Wed Jul 24 — Barwon Club Hotel (South Geelong) (w/ Kwasi, Hoodwolf, Gzutek)
Fri Jul 26 — Karova Lounge (Ballarat) (w/ Kwasi, Hoodwolf, Gzutek)
Destroy And Rebuild is out now.
