Melbourne will welcome a new, annual music festival when Keep It Together Festival debuts on Boxing Day headlined by The Veronicas.
To take over the surrounds of PICA – Port Melbourne Industrial Centre for The Arts – Keep It Together is about surrounding yourself with the ones you love while enjoying those live music feels we've been without for so long."The last few years have been tough for all of Australia," the festival says.
"We have missed out on key family moments, spending time with our friends, and the chance to support local businesses. It's time to bring us together."
Joining The Veronicas will be 'We Run The Night' and 'Big Banana' artist-producer Havana Brown (performing live) and old-school electro legends Stafford Brothers (fresh off performing at the NRL Grand Final with Timmy Trumpet).
Melbourne natives Damian Andres and Matt Campbell aka Discovery Daft Punk Tribute will bring the live electro, Daft Punk thrash vibes to Keep It Together as well.
While house music duo Feenixpawl ('In My Mind'), RnB Fridays Live's Horizon and fitness advocate and international star DJ Kitty Kat will also be part of the inaugural line-up.
"Keep It Together aims to reunite the music community, to celebrate our hard work and perseverance. Our community needs us."
Alongside the music on offer, Keep It Together will also feature art installations, market stalls, food trucks and carnival rides.
