A new, open-air live music event, Surrender NYE promises to redefine New Year's Eve in Western Australia when it descends on Perth's iconic Langley Park this year.
The inaugural event will be headlined by one of the biggest names in global EDM, hip hop and contemporary R&B, Grammy Award-winning producer-DJ KAYTRANADA, who'll be joined by his brother and frequent collaborator Lou Phelps as well as a curated list of support acts (tba).
An icon of modern dance music who has helped reshape global club culture, KAYTRANADA's reputation for orchestrating mesmerising live productions and creating life-long memories is unquestioned.
His arsenal of hits includes 'Intimidated (feat. H.E.R.)', 'You're The One' and '10% (feat. Kali Uchis'); while his 2024 album 'Timeless' (which was nominated for Best Dance/ Electronic Album at 2025 Grammy Awards) produced the club bangers 'Witchy (feat. Childish Gambino) and 'Snap My Finger (feat. PinkPantheress)', the former also receiving a 2025 Grammy Award nomination.
Released in August, 'Ain't No Damn Way!' is KAYTRANADA's fourth studio album that he declared is "something to move to, something to groove to. Enjoy y'all 🍷." It features the lead single 'Space Invader'.

One of Canada's most dynamic voices in club-rap, Lou Phelps began making music alongside KAYTRANADA as part of The Celestics, before launching a solo career that merges sharp lyricism with irresistible, rhythm-heavy production. This year, Lou has released the album 'Chelbe' as well as the EP 'Suge'.
Surrender NYE marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for Perth's live music scene – an immersive experience bringing together world-class artists, cutting-edge production, and a vibrant celebration of electronic culture under the stars.
