Gorgeous Festival's programme will be highlighted by Kate Miller-Heidke and some of South Australia’s leading culinary minds.
Opening a new chapter in the festival's rish history, 2015 will see Gorgeous Festival move to a new home – the esteemed Penny’s Hill Estate, McLaren Vale. Here, festival goers can expect to sample the most extraordinary South Australian food and wine, matched only by the stellar musical program led by the multiplatinum, award-wining international sensation, Kate Miller-Heidke.
Quickly becoming a household name across Australia with her most recent album, 'O Vertigo!', Kate settles between contemporary pop, folk and opera. The lass' latest LP debuted at #4 on the Australian album charts, broke Australian crowd funding records and was nominated for an ARIA award.

Trained as a classical singer at the Queensland Conservatorium, Kate is a unique singer who comes armed with triple-octave pipes that effortlessly switch between lyrebird calls to hymnal-quiet hushes, before breaking out into operatic, glass-breaking siren calls.
“We’re very exited by the festival program we are able to deliver this year,” says Event Director Alistair Cranney.
“Not only are we privileged to be hosting the amazing talents of Kate Miller-Heidke, but to also boast about our new home at Penny’s Hill Winery and expose festival goes to a world class culinary program; altogether a program that will make for an unforgettable festival experience in the heart of South Australian wine country.”

Blues and funk amalgamation of rising hip hop prodigies Dylan Joel, Sydney’s young indie-pop songstress of Montaigne, and rounding out the artist announcement is Adelaide’s own Jesse Davidson and Rin McArdle.
Adding spice to the announcement is the return of the gastronomic highlight on the SA calendar – Gorgeous Table; a glorious food and wine experience to be held at Penny’s Hill Winery on the Friday.
Participants will have the opportunity to sample some of the regions finest produce, prepared by a section of SA’s most notable chefs and all rounded out with the spectacular range of Penny’s Hill wines.
The Gorgeous Table in 2015 will be curated by recognizable chefs including Penny’s Hill Head Chef Neil McGlew, Peter Reschke of d’Arenberg’s d’Arry’s Verandah Restaurant, The Salopian Inn’s Karen Armsrong, and many more still to be announced.
