Having completed a huge 55-date regional tour this year, Kate Miller-Heidke is already getting prepared to hit the road once again, for the ‘Telling Tales’ tour, of capital cities and select theatres, in early 2025.
The award-winning singer-songwriter traverses the worlds of pop, folk, opera and musical theatre. She’s’s represented us in the Eurovision Song Contest, co-wrote the music and lyrics to 'Muriel’s Wedding The Musical' and 'Bananaland', and is currently gracing our screens as a coach on ‘The Voice’.
Plus, she’s played stages from Coachella to the Sydney Opera House.
Kate’s also a born storyteller – in her music, she weaves tales of humour and pain, intimacy and grandeur, joy and regret, childhood and ghosts. Behind all the stories is Kate, and in this show, she’s telling tales. Some of them might even be true.
The ‘Telling Tales’ tour will be a celebration of songs old and brand-new, storytelling, emotion, humour, and music that transports and transcends. It’s an opportunity to see Kate in an intimate, exposed, and revealing performance – accompanied by long-term collaborator Keir Nuttall on guitar.
Joining Kate for all dates on the tour (excluding WA) will be ARIA Award-winning singer, songwriter, pianist, accordionist, podcast maker, and musical writer Alana Stone.
Tickets are on sale 20 September.
