Kanye West has pleaded no contest to the criminal battery of a paparazzo at LAX last year.
The photographer had filed charges of criminal battery and attempted grand theft against Yeezy after he tried to remove a camera from the photographer's hands. Because Kanye pleaded no contest to the battery charge, the attempted grand theft charge was dismissed.
West is now required to complete 250 hours of community service and attend 24 private anger management sessions (which, let's face it, would be hugely entertaining to watch). He also has to pay for the photographer's equipment and medical bills.
West has been placed on informal probation for two years; if he doesn't violate probation, the conviction will be erased from his record.
