Event organisers of Jungle Love music festival have postponed the 2022 event to later in the year after the festival site in the Fraser Coast Region experienced significant flooding and damage.

Originally slated for 29 April to 1 May, Jungle Love will now take place 2-4 September, 2022.

"It's unfortunately now not possible to hold the festival at the Gootchie site safely as we originally planned," Festival Director Raymond Williams says.

"We were so looking forward to seeing our vision come to life next month, and it's a real bugger to have to change pace and reschedule.

"Thankfully, we're already experienced in dealing with setbacks like these since the pandemic started."

Although a downer right now, Williams and his team are looking forward to the new opportunities that await.

"The silver lining is we now have more time to create an even more immersive wonderland that will be safe and accessible for all," Williams says.

"We're working with our suppliers, partners and performers to retain as many amazing acts as possible."

Jungle Love will make another line-up announcement in the coming months. Stay tuned.
