With a new home in Gootchie (QLD), this year's Jungle Love Festival is set to be an epic affair with a stellar line-up of the country's finest indie acts to descend on Kabi Kabi Country for three days (29 April to 1 May).
ARIA Award's 2021 Breakthrough Artist Budjerah and 2021 Unearthed Artist Of The Year King Stingray herald an awesome list of headliners that also includes two-time QMA winner Hope D, electro-synthpop sibling duo Lastlings and Melbourne indie masters RVG.Blues-folk-country group Cash Savage And The Last Drinks, emerging psych lords The Lazy Eyes, Canberra's punk-rock queens Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers and Queensland vocal powerhouse Sahara Beck also join the Jungle Love line-up.
"How good! The band and I are hitting Jungle Love Festival this year with a bunch of beautiful humans. Cannot freaking wait. See ya thur?" states Hope D.
Other highlights of the 2022 line-up include Dizzy Doolan, Jem Cassar-Daley, K+Lab, The Lachy Doley Group, Pink Matter, Pirra and Thunder Fox.
"We bring people and their loved ones to a beautiful natural setting and serve them with an extravaganza featuring some of the most incredible and interesting artists we've stumbled across," Festival Director Raymond Williams says.
Adds Programming Director Michael Butler: "We've got some serious rock royalty and highlights of Meredith Music Festival, Cash Savage and the Last Drinks and RVG coming up from Melbourne.
"We've got the incredible Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers out of Canberra. From Byron, we've got our favourite psych-rock band, The Lazy Eyes.
"Recently chosen by Pink Floyd's Roger Waters to play in his upcoming North American tour, Lachy Doley will raise the roof of the main stage."
The 2022 edition of Jungle Love will also welcome a new addition to the festival. "We are thrilled to introduce another new space, our very own theatrical and performance big top tent," Raymond says.
"It will feature circus, aerial performances, theatre, comedy, poetry slams, dating shows, music, dance parties, and some special late-night takeovers."
Jungle Love Festival (Fraser Coast Region) takes place 29 April to 1 May. Tickets are available.
