The 2021 edition of Jungle Love Festival (situated in Gubbi Gubbi country, Sunshine Coast) have revealed a bumper crop of 31 artists, scheduled to perform at Borumba Deer Park on 14-16 May.
After being forced to cancel their 2020 event (after taking a break in 2019), event organisers are making sure their 2021 festival is one the juiciest yet.
Funk, hip hop act Winston Surfshirt will be joined by neo soul, jazz-funk group Hiatus Kaiyote as co-headliners.
Drill a little deeper into the line-up and there are indie gems everywhere, from local veterans like psych lords Boss Moxi, rockers The Cairos, to funk-soul act Cheap Fakes and alternative champions Osaka Punch.
There's also a stack of emerging talent: Boing Boing, DVNA, FELIVAND, Geniie Boy, Great Sage, JK-47, Nice Biscuit and Perve Endings. Scroll down for the complete line-up.
While we're still almost two months away from Jungle Love, festival organisers are making sure they can adapt and remain flexible during these COVID times.
"It wouldn't be fun or easy to have to deal with such an occurrence, but we won't be blindsided by it this time," Festival Director Raymond Williams says.
"We have a plan, we'd take a big hit if it happened, but we can adapt, postpone the event to later in the year and still give everyone an amazing experience. We're just super grateful we can proceed in 2021."
While the event did originally sell-out (within 10 hours and prior to any acts being announced), 250 more general admissions tickets have been made available in a special extra release. But they won't last long. You know want to do.
