The world's only all-female tribute group to Judas Priest will make their Australian live debut this winter.
Led by vocalist Militia Vox, New York band Judas Priestess will headline concerts in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane in August.Judas Priestess have the endorsement of Judas Priest themselves, with lead singer Rob Halford declaring Judas Priestess "brilliant", sharing further: "Thanks for everything you do for metal with Judas Priestess." While Judas Priest guitarist KK Downing adds: "Metal's top female tribute."
Known for their authentic and high-energy performances that showcase all the Judas Priest hits – including 'Breaking The Law', 'Living After Midnight' and 'Painkiller' – Judas Priestess have opened for Twisted Sister, Pentagram, Metal Allegiance, and Action Bronson.
They have been joined onstage previously by Corey Glover (Living Colour), John Petrucci (Dream Theater), Richard Christy (Iced Earth, Howard Stern show), grunge goddesses L7, Tony Harnell (TNT), Metal Mike (Halford, Sebastian Bach) and members of White Zombie, Monster Magnet, Vixen, The Bouncing Souls and The Plasmatics.
