Joey Valence & Brae

After owning the crowds at last year's Laneway Festival, hyper-creative hip hop duo Joey Valence & Brae return to Australia in 2026.

The Pennsylvania natives will headline concerts in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth in April.

With their trademark energy, enthusiasm, and relentless sonic invention they meld to old-school beats reminiscent of Beastie Boys-era hip hop, Joey Valence & Brae already have a slew of hits.

From 'Punk Tactics', 'Hooligang' and 'Dance Now' to 'OK', 'The Baddest (Badder)', and Doughboy', Joey Valence & Brae added to their catalogue with 2025 album 'Hyperyouth' that features collabs with JPEGMafia, Rebecca Black and TiaCorine.

"Part 1 of HYPERYOUTH TOUR is over. After looking out in to the thousands of faces every night and seeing the culture that's been forming, I finally sit and reflect for what feels like the first time since 2021," Joey posted in November.

"The HOOLIGANG has formed into a culture I could have never imagined. This is a place where anyone from any background can come together and express themselves free from judgement.

"I see the creativity and expression each of you have in your handmade clothing, art, and dancing. I keep everything you give me. The emotions I feel meeting you individually after the shows are indescribable because I see a piece of myself in all of you.

"The stories of influence, inspiration, pride, mental health and change you share are deeply moving as I relate to many of the things you experience. I love and connect with you all.

"As I reflect over these shows and my career, I realise that I haven't stopped. I'm so in love with what I do that I haven't given myself the proper physical and mental alone time necessary to process this all.

"I've always been working so hard towards the next thing that I haven't been truly present in the moments I've been granted. I am growing up. The way I view my life, my goals, and my music is evolving and I'd like to take some time to explore that.

"I have neglected myself and how much my life, my body, my world, and my emotional state has changed for the fear of everything falling apart, but I think it's time to take some alone time and process this all.

"All I know is that I'm finally at a place where I see everything I've worked so hard to achieve finally come to fruition through the HOOLIGANG. Brae and I have built something real and this is only the beginning. Thank you for being here.

"I love you all so much but I'm 'bout to take a much needed break for the next few months. See you soon <3 Love, JV."
