Jebediah, Pub Choir & Darren Middleton To Perform At 2019 Stones Corner Festival

Jebediah
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

A day brimming with exceptional local food, breweries and artisans plus a music line-up dripping in '90s nostalgia as well as everyone's favourite sing-along, Pub Choir, Stones Corner Festival returns to Brisbane (5 May) in 2019 for a sixth instalment.

The free celebration of the inner-city suburb and its community, festival faves Jebediah, Area-7 and local Brisbane legend Darren Middleton of Powderfinger headline the musical offering.

Also on the bill are must-see Brisbane rockers Cheap Fakes, local stalwarts We All Want To (who are back with a new album 'On The Dots') and Townsville punkabilly group The VanKeys, with plenty more acts still to be announced.

Dreamt of stardom, but never made it to the stage? 2019’s Stones Corner Festival will bring the crowd together in harmony with the endlessly popular sell-out local event, Pub Choir.

The festival supports the MND and Me Foundation, who are supporting Queenslanders living with Motor Neurone Disease and funding ongoing research.

“We’re thrilled to host such a diverse group of Australia’s best talent, Paul Kratzmann, Stones Corner Hotel Venue Manager, says.

"Stones Corner Festival gets bigger and better every year, and we’re excited to welcome back roaring crowds, music lovers and families while celebrating the local food producers and brewers in our community.

“It’s a highlight on the annual calendar not just for Stones Corner, but for all of Brisbane. Let’s just say we’re very glad Monday 6 May is a public holiday!"

Make sure you grab a bite from some of Brisbane’s most popular food trucks like WingFix and Greek Street Kantina, alongside over 20 beverage vendors promoting Brisbane and Australian craft beer including Ballistic Beer Co, Fortitude Brewing Company, and Aether Brewing.

Artisan creators will be showcased with Urbane Markets on board this year, and plenty of fun and activities to keep the kids entertained including a petting zoo.

While general entry to the festival is a gold-coin donation, limited VIP Package tickets will be available in 2019 giving dedicated attendees front row action.

2019 Stones Corner Festival takes place Logan Road in Stones Corner (Brisbane) Sunday 5 May 12-10pm.
