Rising duo Jagwar Ma have announced the details of their first national headline tour in Australia this April.
Capitalising on the buzz of their 2011 debut single, Come and Save Me, the band delivered a killer follow-up, The Throw, with its psychadelic-techno leanings, this single has made some serious waves both here and around the globe.
The Throw has been added to the BBC Radio 1 playlist and was the #1 Most Played track on triple j. Rated Best New Music by Pitchfork, "the song's the purest piece of Madchester revivalism to come around in some time" and is Jagwar Ma's "grand statement to the word," according to NME.
The band have already established themselves as one of the most exciting new live propositions, with stand-out shows on the recent Big Day Out run and a sweaty, sold-out club show at Sydney's GoodGod in January. Jagwar Ma were handpicked by The xx to support them on their national tour in early April and are currently on tour with Foals in Europe.
