Three years since he last trekked down under, soul-folk-jazz-funk multi-instrumentalist Jacob Collier is returning to Australia.
The five-time Grammy Award-winning British artist will headline concerts in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane as well as a solo piano performance in Hobart.The tour is part of Collier's global run of shows (67 in total) performing material from his three 'Djesse' records (comprising 50 songs). The unreleased final chapter, 'Djesse Vol. 4', remains shrouded in mystery with Jacob keeping tight-lipped on what fans can expect.
"I am 'stegosaurusally' excited to be returning to one of the most spectacular parts of the world for some uproarious music-making," shares Jacob.
"It's been three years since I've visited, and I am delighted to be returning. Woooooooooooo!"
Jacob's first new song of 2022 is 'Never Gonna Be Alone', which features Lizzy McAlpine on vocals (who co-wrote the song) alongside John Mayer on guitar.
Tickets on sale from noon (local time) on 5 August.
