Former singer of INXS, J.D. Fortune returns to Australia for his very first solo headline tour down under.
Swaggering. Charming. Electrifying. The tour will land in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney (x2 shows), Wollongong, Newcastle, Frankston, Melbourne (x2 shows), Adelaide, Perth and Fremantle in October.The winner of the 'Rock Star: INXS' reality show – to find a permanent replacement for the late Michael Hutchence after having a number of guest singers including Jon Stevens – in 2005, Fortune would front INXS for seven years until 2011. INXS would retire as a band the following year.
Together, Fortune and INXS released one album of original music, 2005's 'Switch' (that features the cuts 'Pretty Vegas' and 'Afterglow').
The powerhouse Canadian vocalist will perform a set of INXS anthems and classics including 'Need You Tonight', 'Never Tear Us Apart', 'New Sensation', 'Mystify', 'Devil Inside', 'Don't Change', 'Suicide Blonde', and 'Original Sin' as well as number of songs he co-wrote with the band.
Backed by a world-class band, INXS fans can expect a live experience that honours the legacy of INXS while shining a spotlight on J.D. Fortune's vocal talents and captivating stage presence.
