Island Vibe Festival Sets Sail With Its First Acts Of 2020

Bullhorn join the Island Vibe 2020 line-up.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Island Vibe are 'frothingly delirious' to deliver their first line-up of 2020 artists.

Four days of world soul, bass and reggae, the 2020 edition will feature the irrepressible Leviathan of brass that is Bullhorn, the new and improved mega-band version of Mood Swing & Chevy Bass, the emerging brilliance of First Nations hip hop artist Jarulah and Sunshine Coast soulstress JaZZella.

"The festival will be smaller in numbers, but massive on VIBE as we are dedicated to bringing you a wonderful and magical programme of the highest quality," the Festival says.

"As well as a superfine selection of live acts and electronic bass artists we will have a strong focus on cultural, healthy lifestyle, dance and eco workshops, plus more poetry, spoken word and cabaret."

Redlands Council, Dunwich Police and the Minjerribah community have all expressed their support for this year's event, which is restricted to 1,000 tickets (and they're close to selling out - click here for tickets).

If event organisers receive the green light to host more attendees, another batch of tickets will be released in September.

Rudekat Records also has a new merch site with a whole lot of Island Vibe and Rudekat designs from the vaults. Click here for a digital browse.

Island Vibe takes place at Pt Lookout Minjerribah Nth Stradbroke Island (SE QLD) 29 October to 1 November.
