One of Australia's most soulful and enriching music, environmental and community-focussed events, Island Vibe Festival is back this year for its 12th edition.
Known for its eco-friendly sustainable initiatives, soulful music, indigenous roots and fringe arts, Island Vibe will again be held at the beautiful Home Beach at Point Lookout, Minjerribah on North Stradbroke Island (just off the coast of Brisbane) 26-29 October.
Without further ado we introduce the first artist line-up for this year’s Island Vibe Festival. From Bristol UK, is MC junglist extraordinaire Eva Lazarus and DJ Chris Munky who'll blaze a mixture of reggae, hip hop, dancehall and drum & bass.

Joining them are UK dancehall lord Parly B & The 4'20 Sound, Berlin’s funk-fusion king JStar, and NZ’s reggae heavyweights Dub Terminator and Dubsonic.
From our own shores, perennial festival favourites Oka will be back with their thunderous blend of didjeridu-powered dance grooves alongside the ten-piece funk-brass behemoth that is Bullhorn.

Reggae lords Kingfisha, the drum-fuelled insanity that is The Bird, Triple J hip hop prankster chart toppers Butterfingers and the all-star collective The New Buzz (featuring members of The Beautiful Girls, Dubmarine and Upsteppers) have also been added to the bill.
West End's songbird Ofa Fanaika will also be bringing her Church on Sunday collective to keep the jams fluid. Also on the local front, festival goers will be treated to timeless ceremony and dance with songman Buangan and the Yulu Burri Ba Dancers, while they can catch a ringside seat to watch the ascent to stardom of local MC Sachem and his hip hop ensemble 47.

This year will also see the festival grow to four days:
TO OUR BELOVED vibers... As you now know, we are expanding to 4 days, adding one more day of dancing, singing, chilling on the beach and workshops! Island Vibe is kicking off early with an opening night party featuring Liquid Chocolate and a ram-jam program of hot selectors in the Dub Dome on Thursday night!
So lock 26-29 October into your calendar and save your spot as there are very limited 4-day passes available!
