A combination of local community concerns and related COVID restrictions affecting the quality of the event that could be produced, Island Vibe Festival (North Stradbroke Island) have made the decision to postpone their 2020 event to 2021.
"The decision was largely made due to local community concerns about holding a large gathering on the island at this time, coupled with the impact COVID-19 restrictions would have on the quality of the event we would wish to deliver," event organisers said in a statement."The thought of policing the dance floor to enforce the current dancing ban was never an appealing prospect.
"2020 has proved a very challenging year for events, with uncertainty at every step of the way. We are optimistic that 2021 will see events adapt and flourish in the new conditions."

Set in a lush valley at the base of Mt Pinbarren, attendees will gather around the spring equinox for a weekend of relaxation, celebration, and connection.
