After supporting the likes of Mitzi and British India, TTT will play a show alongside Ball Park Music later this month.
Who is Tongue Tied Thieves... We're a Sunshine Coast three-piece, indie-rock band.
We sound like... A jazzed-up Powderfinger crossed with The Jungle Giants.Our first gig was... At Solbar supporting Mitzi; their lead singer saw us play at our high school formal and asked us to support them.
When did you settle on the group's name, and was it a unanimous decision... We’d like to say we opened a dictionary and they were the first three words to show up, but actually our friend came up with the name and we thought it had a nice sound to it; rolls off the tongue.
In the studio we usually... Try and keep an open-mind and move with the song and the direction it's heading.
If we could tour with anyone... We’d love to tour with any band with a similar style of music, a band or musician we could connect with.
Social media is... A great way to reach out, but can become tedious at times.
