Regional event promoter Dashville (home to The Gum Ball and Dashville Skyline) have been busy behind the scenes, crafting The Sky Ball – a three-day concert series scheduled for the October long weekend (2-4 October).
Designed to be a sign of hope for a struggling industry, The Sky Ball was created as a recovery plan back in March when The Gum Ball was first cancelled.Information has been scarce since, but now four weeks out it has evolved into a very viable weekend of fun and music, with an amazing line-up of local and regional NSW artists ready to converge on the property (at Belford in the Hunter Valley).
Limited to 200 socially distanced music fans onsite, (already close to a sell-out through existing Gum Ball credit holders), The Sky Ball will feature Kim Churchill, William Crighton, Fanny Lumsden, Ben Leece & Left of The Dial, Catherine Britt and many more.
For those eager to attend but not able to, Dashville have donned their Santa hats with an early Chrissie present left under the tree ready to unwrap.
Sky Ball TV will feature the wealth of artists performing at The Sky Ball, and will be available via a pay-to-view streamed event happening on Sunday 4 October (and available to view for two weeks from that date).
All proceeds raised through the live streamed event will go directly to the artists performing. So it's a great way to show your support to these wonderful artists actively supporting the industry of which they are a part of.
So gather your family and friends, and get the backyard arena ready for your own 'constellation' – The Sky Ball is going to be broadcast across the globe for all to enjoy.
The Sky Ball takes place at Dashville (Hunter Valley) 2-4 October, 2020.
