We sound like... Nana Mouskouri after too many hash cookies —poor old Nana.

When did you settle on the group’s name, and was it a unanimous decision... I do not understand za word ‘unanimous’. Please explain or I vill have za question removed.

In the studio we usually... Blow smoke up each others bottoms. We call it the holy smoke festival.
If we could tour with anyone... Willy Nelson and Julio Iglesias, just to hear them sing ‘To All The Girls I've Loved Before’ over and over — it would certainly make or break the band.
Social media is... Just another way of saying ‘social intercourse’, but somehow ‘social intercourse’ sounds so much naughtier.
To date, my most embarrassing moment was the time... I played a gig at the Woodford Folk Festival a few years back in an acoustic duo with a viola player. The gig was going really well —sweet acoustic stuff; all those hippies chilled out and loving it — then I remember hearing a commotion front of stage where a full-on fight had broken out. It was my mixer in a fist fight/ wrestle with the in-house production guy and his friends just like the wild west. I was yelling and screaming, my viola player was in tears, but we finished the set. Then we took our horse and rode out of there... yeeehaa!

What celebrity would you love to be spokesperson of the band... I love Mayor Quimby from ‘The Simpsons’. He is so distrusful, but outwardly earnest at the same time — he actually reminds me of some music industry types I've met over the years. Yeah, he's the man for the Sissybones.

The Sissybones EP launch takes place at The Loft, Gold Coast, March 22 and the Brisbane Powerhouse March 26.
