A rapper from Perth in his early 20s, Big Kidd has been spitting bold and brash rhymes since he was 15, creating a style he claims "is incredibly unique within Australia".
With a sound he says is "aggressive, demeaning, hostile and perfected to what it has become", Big Kidd has collaborated with a number of names in the Australian underground rap scene including KING AK, TKO and Kogz."I have also collaborated with American rapper Stitches on my song 'About It'. My style is definitely unique; the listener definitely has to have a sweet tooth for my specific sound of music.
"When I first started out, I was hated because I was different within my music sound, but I pushed through all the hate and by ignoring every ounce of negativity that was thrown at me, I have made it, in my eyes.
"I have a loyal fan base that is always listening to my music, waiting for new songs who support me on anything and everything I do.
"I wouldn't say I am famous or anything like that, but one of the best feelings when you're a rapper is when you're out in public (clubs, shops etc.) and someone comes up to you and asks you for a picture and says your music has helped them."
Last month, Big Kidd dropped a 31-second TikTok video portraying himself performing a new track he says is "a new era for Big Kidd".

I sound like... Myself. I have my own style that is incredibly unique within Australia and no body can match it.
My first gig was... At a club in Perth city back in 2015; I wasn't even 18 at the time, somehow I still got put on and let in as a supporting act; my set was 12 minutes.
When did you settle on the group's name, and was it a unanimous decision... I settled on my name back in late 2017; it came to my mind one day and I knew it was the right decision to go with.
In the studio I usually... Get turnt up and record some fire songs, my energy is always at its peak when I'm in that booth.
If I could tour with anyone... Would love to tour with Haystak and my boy Stitches.
My favourite app at the moment is... Spotify, that's where I can listen to music and clear my mind.
To date, my most embarrassing moment was the time... The one time I was walking down the street and slipped on a banana peel. I thought that only happened in movies.
Life on the road can be... It can be good, it can also be challenging if you don't have routine. In my experience, it's always a fun time.
If you'll have me on your bill, all I ask is that the rider contains... Just give me unlimited bottles of water and I'm happy.
The most scary scenario I've found myself in, was... Probably the moment I was 'about' to jump out of a plane to skydive. The scariest part is when you're up there; it's an amazing experience though. I been skydiving six times in the last three years.
What celebrity/ famous person would you love to be spokesperson of the band... Jason Bateman. Because I've always loved how real his acting seems, it's like he's playing himself in every movie.
If you had to live in a city abroad, where would you choose and why? The city I currently live in now, which is Perth. I feel like Perth is one of the best cities to live in. It just feels right.
Three people you'd like to invite around for a dinner party... I'd invite Michael Cera, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Ed Helms. Because we wouldn't stop laughing as everyone would be making jokes out of everything, even ourselves.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us? Chicken and rice. Stop neglecting your goddam protein needs.
When it comes to pets are you a lover or hater of our furry friends? I love animals, my dog has been one of my best friends since I've been 15 years old. I also had a cat for 18 years. She sadly passed away three years ago.
No matter the expense, send me a case of... Water, I like being hydrated.
The last time I saw the inside of a gym was... Yesterday, I try keep on top of my fitness and go five days a week.
What's the one chore you dislike the most? Grocery shopping and shopping for clothes. I'm so picky with my clothing, it's almost an issue.
Do you have any phobias... I don't have any phobias that I can think of off the top of my head. What about worrying about my protein intake constantly, does that count?
Would you ever partake in a reality show? 'Too Hot To Handle'. I feel like I'd be the only one there that would be able to control myself.
If you could prank any of your friends, who's your target, and how are you bringing them down? Probably my friend Matt (BLANK666). I'd take away his Xbox controller and he'd lose his will to live.
Best local takeaway joint for a midnight feed that will leave you with a food coma? McDonald's. That joint is deadly and we'll get ya looking like a tub of jelly if you're not careful.
Which fictional character best describes your personality? Popeye. I love my spinach. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get my forearms as big as his though, I'm working on it.
Last show you binge-watched? 'Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story'. It was a very interesting and complexed case, I find it intriguing how the human mind works.
