The two of us [Matthew and Justin Hyland] have been writing music together for the last couple of years, working on coming up with a handful of songs that we were happy to release. Once we did that, we got a live band together and now we are finally ready to bring it to the road.

When did you settle on the group's name, and was it a unanimous decision...
Actually a friend of mine posted a Facebook status that was literally just "little earthquake?" asking if anyone else had felt it. I instantly thought of it as a band name. And after reading a few of the comments on it and seeing the way people reacted to it, I was hooked on the idea!
In the studio we usually...
Drink coffee for a few hours and waste a lot of time arguing over stupid things that don't matter until we finally wake up properly and work on songs, haha ... We actually had our hands on Pete Townshend from The Who's old 12 string Rickenbacker for this EP recording; you could feel the energy oozing out of it while playing it!

We haven't been on the road yet as Little Earthquake, but life on the road is fun. We aren't jaded enough yet to not like it!
