Just under two years ago, Molly Millington introduced herself with the mesmerising 'Circus Animal'.
She followed that up last year with the singles 'Ring Master' (another serving of quirky, whimsical indie pop) and 'October' (that finds Molly exploring deeper, emotive sonic territory) that highlights a burgeoning talent destined for playlists everywhere.Now Molly has been added to Groovin The Moo's Fresh Produce line-up at the Maitland leg later this month. She also supports Thelma Plum on her sold-out national tour.
Who is... Molly Millington has been through many phases from being a full-blown country singer who wrote and released many death ballads to now a bright, trippy pop artist who's dedicated to providing songs that make you think and feel deeper, paired with a striking live show.
My first gig was... John Fogerty when I was 11.
In the studio... I usually feel overwhelmed with emotion hahaha 'cause music for me is my therapy.
If I could tour with anyone... It would be Yebba, John Mayer, Allen Stone, Dolly Parton, Greta Van Fleet. . . the rest are dead.

If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us? Well, I came to the realisation a while ago that I should probably stay out of the kitchen, but a few weeks ago I tried to cook again and I made salmon with veggies and sweet potato mash, and honestly it slapped haha!
When it comes to pets are you a lover or hater of our furry friends? I grew up around a lot of dogs, but I don't have any atm but I'd call myself a lover.

The last time I saw the inside of a gym was... I've never stepped foot in a normal gym, but last time I was in an aerial gym was about two months ago.
What's the one chore you dislike the most? Cleaning the fridge.
Do you have any phobias... Ducks, but I have gotten over it. One bit my toe when I was like eight. I haven't looked at a duck the same since.
Would you ever partake in a reality show? Yeah, why not. Probably 'Married At First Sight'.
If you could prank any of your friends, who's your target, and how are you bringing them down? Honestly, I'm not a big prankster but whenever I think I've made a mistake but I actually haven't I always say "Scotty from prank patrol", hahaha!
Best local takeaway joint for a midnight feed that will leave you with a food coma? Coles mud cakes.
Which fictional character best describes your personality? I'd say Animal from the 'Muppets' meets Rapunzel from 'Tangled'.
