Who is Taylor Pfeiffer... I am a singer-songwriter, banjo player and guitarist. Career highlights include performing in the US in 2018 and 2019, performing on TV shows 'Spicks and Specks', 'The Today Show', 'Sunrise', and 'Music City Roots' aired in the US.
I sound like... A cross between indie, country, pop, and folk. I am inspired by artists Kacey Musgraves, Michael Jackson, Lennon Stella, Angus & Julia Stone.
My first gig was... At a local karaoke night in the Clare Valley singing 'My Boy Lolly Pop' when I was 5-years-old. I then started performing in local talent quests, and then country music festivals across the country.
When did you settle on the group's name, and was it a unanimous decision... I used to be called The Banjo Girl at country music festivals. Now I just stick to my name, Taylor Pfeiffer.
In the studio I usually... Turn off all the lights when I am recording vocals, so that I can feel the raw emotions of the songs I have written.
If I could tour with anyone... I have a long list! Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves, Dua Lipa, Angus & Julia Stone.
Social media is... Very addictive.
My favourite app at the moment is... Facebook Marketplace! I have to scroll multiple times a day to see available houseplants and homewares – it's a serious addiction.
To date, my most embarrassing moment was the time... It was windy and my dress blew up.
Life on the road can be... Exciting! I love adventures and being able to perform in front of a whole new audience.
If you'll have me on your bill, all I ask is that the rider contains... A chai latte and lots of cake!
The most scary scenario I've found myself in, was... in New York Times Square, a motorbike backfired, and everyone was running assuming it was a gun shot.
What celebrity/ famous person would you love to be your spokesperson? I would love Max Martin to be the spokesperson of my music. He is one of the world's top songwriters, and having him on my side would be unreal.
If you had to live in a city abroad, where would you choose and why? I've visited Brevard in North Carolina; it's such a cute country town with amazing views of mountains and waterfalls.
Three people you'd like to invite around for a dinner party... Hilary Duff, Taylor Swift, Quincy Jones – they're my childhood idols.
If we were coming over to your place, what would you cook us? I cook a lot of pasta at home, a LOT.
No matter the expense, send me a case of... Croissants!
The last time I saw the inside of a gym was... Months and months ago.
What's the one chore you dislike the most? Using a washing machine, ha!
Do you have any phobias? I hate heights, so much! My partner surprised me with a climb of the Sydney Harbour Bridge; somehow I managed. Never again.
Would you ever partake in a reality show? Maybe 'Masterchef' if I could actually cook!
If you could prank any of your friends, who's your target, and how are you bringing them down? I just enjoy pranking my partner; just a simple scare is good enough for me.
Make sure you get along early to Parks and Rockreation Ep 03 on 13 December (from 2.30pm) at Whitmore Square in Adelaide to check out The Journey acts Mums Favourite and Taylor Pfeiffer before headliners Stellie, Nancy Bates and St Jaxques round out the entertainment.
