Three years removed from their last studio album, 2018's 'Marauder' (which produced 'If You Really Love Nothing' and 'The Rover'), Manhattan indie rockers Interpol have begun work on their next record.
Currently in London recording, and with the release date for Interpol's seventh studio album (that remains untitled) touted for next year, the trio of Paul Banks, Daniel Kessler and Sam Fogarino have revealed their working with Flood & Moulder. The production duo won a BRIT Award in 2014 for their work on Foals' 'Holy Fire' album and have collaborated together on releases with Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails and Smashing Pumpkins.
"We are overjoyed to announce Flood & Moulder will be producing and mixing the next Interpol record," Daniel says.
"We are long-time admirers of their work and delighted to be in the studio with them. Starting this party right."
The band have a number of 2022 shows already booked including the Rose Bowl in LA headlining Just Like Heaven, Mexico City's Palacio De Los Deportes, as well as being one of the headliners at Primavera Sound in Barcelona.
