An unprecedented number of international artists join the star-studded line-up for Blues On Broadbeach music festival in May.
In its 18th year, Blues On Broadbeach presents a jam-packed line-up of local, national and international performers over four days across 20 different indoor and outdoor stages in stunning Broadbeach locations.
New additions to this year's festival include Bahamas from Canada, Charley Crockett and Cedric Burnside from the US, blues royalty Kevin Borich Express, not to mention much-loved Aussie acts Hussy Hicks and Geoff Achison.
Also joining the fun will be legendary French ensemble Gipsy Kings, who will play an exclusive ticketed show at The Star as part of Blues On Broadbeach; otherwise, Blues On Broadbeach is a completely free event.
Some 40 artists have been added to Blues On Broadbeach in the latest announcement, joining premier blues, soul and funk acts such as Canned Heat, Eric Bibb, Harts, The Bamboos, Tami Neilson, The Lachy Doley Group, Kings & Associates and heaps more.
Complemented by the best of Gold Coast cuisine, it's a tasty recipe for success. Last year Blues On Broadbeach attracted over 170 000 visitors and an economic boost of $21 million into the local economy.
