Byron Bay metal/ hardcore outfit In Hearts Wake have announced a national tour to launch their much anticipated third album, 'Skydancer'.
The second half of an ambitious project that has been planned in secret since well before the release of their award-winning breakthrough album 'Earthwalker', 'Skydancer' and will emerge exactly 364 days after its predecessor. Recorded in the same session as 2013 drew to a close, both albums share a multitude of themes across their artwork, lyrics and charitable intentions.
"I’d been searching for a concept that could explain the relationship between the masculine and feminine worlds and how we needed to be at peace with both in order to be whole,” says frontman Jake Taylor.
The album includes a new version of former single 'Skydancer' featuring Jonathan Vigil of The Ghost Inside, as well as guest appearances from Marcus Bridge of Northlane and J Hurley and Ben Marvin of Hacktivist. 'Skydancer' premiered on BBC Radio 1 'The Rock Show' to an overwhelming response from fans across the world.
Main supports on the Skydancer Tour will be Detoit post-hardcore band We Came As Romans, back-to-basics hardcore stompers Beartooth, and Melbourne six-piece Storm The Sky.
