Fresh from being a guest on Hilltop Hoods tour, Illy celebrates his own legacy this winter with a national run of shows celebrating his commercial breakthrough album, 'Two Degrees'.
The run of shows this June-July will visit Melbourne, Fremantle, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane.
Released 11 November, 2016, and featuring singles with Vera Blue ('Papercuts'), Anne-Marie ('Catch 22') and Tonight Alive's Jenna McDougall ('Oh My'), 'Two Degrees' was Illy's first record to land at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
The album's subsequent tour was awarded Best Australian Live Act at the 2017 ARIA Awards (Illy's second ARIA win).
"I'm not one for looking back too often, but this milestone for 'Two Degrees' is a moment worth celebrating with the people who it meant something to then, and still does to this day," Illy says.
"I wouldn't be here without them, and I look forward to playing 'Two Degrees', and some even deeper cuts from the back catalogue, for the first time in a long time, with the people who've been with me the longest."
Since the release of 'Two Degrees', Illy has released the #1 album 'The Space Between' (2021) and Top 5 album 'Good Life' (2024), with new music also on the horizon.
