After a run of shows in late 2022, death thrashers Idle Ruin are hitting the road again in 2023 in support of their album 'The Fell Tyrant'.
Set to be Idle Ruin's last Australian shows before relocating overseas, the Brisbane three-piece play headline shows in their home town (next week) as well as Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney in March. This run of shows is in support of the band's debut album, 'The Fell Tyrant' (out 21 January) – the follow-up to their 2020 self-titled EP and 2022's 'Malefactors' split release with Boundless Chaos.
Produced and mixed by Brendan Auld at Black Blood Audio (Resin Tomb, Descent, Pustilence) and mastered by Dav Byrne (Shatter Brain, ISUA) at Iridium Audio, 'The Fell Tyrant' refers to Brisbane's early days as the Moreton Bay Prison Colony and its notorious commandant Captain Logan.
