A new era of festivals is here, as Hypersonic – a brand-new electronic music event – hits Sydney and Melbourne this November.
The new event is a collision of EDM, trance, house, techno, and hard techno. . . In a weekend of pure chaos, colour, and unity.
“Bringing all things hyper together, the visual of hyperdome, the spirit of hyperave and the origins of Stereo musically, we’re super excited to bring a celebration of life, the start of summer, the rite of passage we’ve missed whilst showcasing the best in electronic music now and for the future. We want fans in ten years time to say ‘Hey, I was at the very first Hypersonic’, with pride. It’s a festival for the people,” Hardware’s Richie McNeill says.
King of EDM Armin van Buuren, anthem master Alesso, genre-bending superstar MaRLo, stadium-shaking showman Steve Aoki, drum code heavyweight Adam Beyer and hard techno force blk lead the charge for Hypersonic.
And if that wasn’t enough, there’s Aaron Hibell (Aus debut), Andrew Rayel, Bart Skils, Charlie Sparks, David Rust, Dimatik, Jesabel, John O’Callaghan, KAAZE, KREAM, Laura Van Dam, Sunset Bros and more. The iconic voice of Tomorrowland and Stereosonic, MC Stretch, guides the madness.
“There's nothing like going from stage to stage, discovering new music and seeing your all-time favourite artists in a festival atmosphere,” Symbiotic’s Janette Bishara adds. “We are bringing back the vibe people have been begging for. That fun, with friends, party antics, end of the year release. Forget everything for a day, and enjoy the moment. Life is too short. This is a whole new experience and is set to be the event of the year. We’re proud to see the Hyper family evolve, and Hypersonic is our boldest step yet.”
