Michigan Midwesterners Hot Mulligan and Nashville natives Free Throw are teaming up for an emo-alternative double bill next March.
The first visit to Australia for both bands, the seven-date tour will roll through Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Wollongong, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane.A group of college friends who first formed in 2014, Hot Mulligan have built a solid following with their emo-brand of pop-punk as well as a cheeky flair that has seen them name drop Michelle Branch and Mark Hoppus into Hot Mulligan song titles.
With 140 million Spotify streams, recent supports alongside The Wonder Years and New Found Glory, earlier this year Hot Mulligan released their third record, 'Why Would I Watch' featuring the singles 'Shhhh! Golf Is On' and 'No Shoes In The Coffee Shop (Or Socks)'.
"Surprise! We're going to Australia in March and bringing our good friends Free Throw."
A band active since 2012, Free Throw blend the lines between emo, punk rock, pop punk, post-hardcore and indie rock.
They've released four studio albums: 'Those Days Are Gone' (2014), 'Bear Your Mind' (2017), 'What's Past Is Prologue' (2019), and 'Piecing It Together' (2021).
"Ripping some absolute heaters with our friends Hot Mulligan in Australia," shares Free Throw. "This will be our first time in your lovely country, hope to see you all there."
Tickets on sale from 11 August.
