Off the back of the 2015 Groovin’ The Moo festivals, DJ Tom Loud’s Hot Dub Time Machine had Brisbanites swept up in a frenzy on Saturday night (23 May), as they boogied their way through pop music history as part of the world’s first-ever ‘time-travelling dance party’.

Hosted by Brisbane’s Max Watt's House Of Music, the build-up to the Brisbane leg of the HDTM tour was undeniable, as punters eagerly awaited the experience of dancing the night away to the greatest pop songs of all time, dating from the 1950s through to today.

DJ Tom Loud certainly did not fail to deliver, playing the very best of the world’s most popular and beloved pop songs and taking the crowd through a number of musical genres ranging from rockabilly, grunge, hip hop, funk, dance and soul.

A melting pot cleverly mashed into a high-energy few hours, Hot Dub Time Machine’s rise has been nothing short of phenomenal and is seeing the show appear in festivals across the country and in demand around the world.
