One of 2000s biggest indietronica bands, Hot Chip return to Australia early 2026 with a show celebrating their classic hits and dance-floor bangers.
The January dates in Brisbane, Sydney (two performances at Sydney Festival) and Melbourne arrive in the wake of the London group releasing 'Joy In Repetition' in September, their first best of compilation mapping out an artistic evolution across eight studio albums.

A consistent presence of indie dance music the last two decades, Hot Chip have influenced modern music fusing multiple genres bridging pop, electronica, disco, synthpop and indie.
Their catalogue of hits – mixing euphoria and melancholy with a dance-floor energy – include 'Over And Over', 'Ready For The Floor', 'Boy From School', 'Flutes', 'Need You Now', 'Huarache Lights', 'One Life Stand' and 'I Feel Better'.
With six Top 20 albums, a Mercury Music Prize nomination, sell-out residencies at Brixton Academy and collaboration with the likes of David Byrne, Jarvis Cocker, Robert Wyatt, Brian Eno and many more, Hot Chip remain as vital as ever: playful, profound and perpetually locked in the groove.
