Two of Australia's indie champions, Hockey Dad and Ruby Fields are finally bringing their friendship on tour with a run of live dates they've dubbed The Hockey Fields Tour.
Good mates from their time playing the same festivals and crossing paths while on the tour circuit, Hockey Dad and Ruby Fields will co-headline shows in Brisbane, Fremantle, Melbourne and Sydney.Northern Beaches band Dear Seattle will make it an indie-rock three-course feast. "We are buzzing for this one," Hockey Dad says.
"It's been too long since our last shows in these cities and we are buzzing to get amongst it again with awesome mates."
Adds Ruby: "So stoked on this one with our best mates Hockey Dad and Dear Seattle; been wanting to do it for ages."
Hockey Dad have just completed a 21-date UK tour (with numerous sold-out gigs including the final show at London's Lafayette). While Ruby Fields' fans should get excited. "We got some real cool music coming your way soon," Ruby teased earlier this year.
Hockey Dad also play Spin Off Festival in Adelaide in July. While Ruby Fields is doing a one-off Newcastle show next month.
