Busy these past few months in the studio writing and recording a stack of fresh material, Windang duo Zach Stephenson and Billy Fleming are ecstatic to share 'T's To Cross', a swashbuckling acoustic-flavoured Britpop banger that sparkles with dusty-inflected instrumentation and a lyrical theme that will resonate with 9-to-5 workers."'T's To Cross' is an ode to the rat race,” the pair says, explaining the song.
"It's a look into the daily grind most people go through just to survive. Clock in/ clock out. Everybody jumping over the top of each other to make it up the totem pole.
"When really we all end up old and bald. Is this lifetime of sacrifice really worth it in the end?"
Currently lapping up the sunny vibes of a northern summer after being invited by Taking Back Sunday and Third Eye Blind to join their 30-date US tour, Hockey Dad will return down under for a swag of festival dates later this year.
