Grammy-nominated folk-rock-country band, Hiss Golden Messenger are finally making their way to Australia for the very first time.
A group who originated in 2007 in North Carolina, Hiss Golden Messenger is led by M.C. Taylor; he'll be joined by a live band for headline concerts in Melbourne and Sydney as well as an appearance at Dashville Skyline in the Hunter Valley in September.Hiss Golden Messenger's new album, titled 'Jump For Joy', will land next month; the band have already previewed the record with the singles 'Nu-Grape' and 'Shinbone' – the latter being released today.
"I'm beyond excited to announce that Hiss Golden Messenger will be playing a short run of shows in Australia at the end of September 2023," beams M.C. Taylor.
"It's long been a dream of mine to head down under – it's really quite hard to believe that, having put out well over ten records under the Hiss Golden Messenger name and clocked hundreds of thousands of miles around the US and in Europe, I've never been to your fair shores – and these performances are going to be something special.
"Our deepest thanks to the good folks at Love Police and Dashville Skyline for putting this tour together. Bring your dancing, shoes, folks! We're gonna have a real good time, Hiss-style! See you there."
Tickets to Melbourne and Sydney shows on sale from 17 July. Dashville Skyline tickets are on sale.
