With a healthy dose of party hip hop and flows faster than a Daniel Ricciardo hot lap, Hilltop Hoods are back with fresh tuneage ('Leave Me Lonely') as well as a release date for their next studio album, 'The Great Expanse'.
The follow-up track to their ARIA-nominated Gold single 'Clark Griswold', 'Leave Me Lonely' is an instant classic from Australia's hip hop royalty and destined for high rotation all summer long.
"'Leave Me Lonely' is a song about the eternal struggle of being cornered by a close-talker," jokes Suffa.
"It's a song that's relatable to anyone that's ever been outside. Or in a room with more than four people."
Those with the sharp-hearing skills of a moth (fun fact: moths have been recognised as having the best hearing in the world) will deduce elements of Richard Berry's song 'Have Love Will Travel', which was covered by The Black Keys on their 'Thickfreakness' album (2003).
After an appearance at Splendour In The Grass earlier this year as well as a UK and European tour (including Reading and Leeds festivals), and with a run of dates at Falls Festival this festive season (dates below), Hilltop Hoods are ready to return to the global stage.
The band will release 'The Great Expanse' 22 February, 2019. Click here for exclusive access to 'The Great Expanse' pre-order store.
As an added bonus when pre-ordering through the official album store, fans can get the 'Restrung Live' music doco free as part the order.
Filmed during the national sold out 'Restrung' arena tour in 2016, the music doco shows a rare glimpse into the world behind the stage, with interviews from Hilltop Hoods, their team, fans and contemporaries.
