Saddle up, country fans 'cause this promises to be the biggest day of country music in the Hunter Valley, when Heartbeat Of The Hunter is headlined by Casey Barnes and The Wolfe Brothers.
Two of the biggest names in Australian country music will be joined by rising country-pop duo Zac & George, chart-climber Taylor Moss (who supports LeAnn Rimes on her Australian tour this week), breakout star Nathan Lamont (currently in Nashville on a songwriting assignment), and emerging country sweetheart Piper Rodrigues.
To be staged at the scenic grounds of Tocal Agricultural College in Paterson on 27 September, Heartbeat Of The Hunter will offer country music vibes in a stunning rural setting. With shuttle buses operating from Newcastle and surrounding towns, you can leave the car at home and enjoy the ride.
An ARIA Award-winner behind hits like 'God Took His Time On You' and 'Come Turn Me On', Casey Barnes is a festival regular whose most recent single is titled 'Rough Around The Edges'. "A song about a love that doesn't need fixing. .. Hope you guys are digging the new one!"
With the current #1 Australian album, in yet another sign that country music is dominating the local airwaves, The Wolfe Brothers' 'Australian Made' features a collab with Lee Kernaghan ('Country Is Coming To Town') as well as the songs 'Beer In A Bar', 'Little By Little' and 'No Sad Song'.
