Hawthorne Heights

A tour promising to celebrate the golden age of emo, Ohio emo, post-hardcore veterans Hawthorne Heights return to Australia in 2026 – and they're bringing New Jersey post-hardcore legends Armor For Sleep (their debut Oz shows).

The five-date April tour will see Hawthorne Heights honour the 20th anniversary of their seminal album 'If Only You Were Lonely' (that features 'Saying Sorry', 'This Is Who We Are' and 'Pens And Needles') with concerts in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

"🇦🇺 Australia, we didn't forget about you! Join us in April as we bring the sadness down under for the 20th anniversary of 'If Only You Were Lonely'," posted the band. "Joining us on The Lonely world tour will be our friends, and special guests Armor For Sleep for their first time in Australia."

With a catalogue of seven studio albums (2021's 'The Rain Just Follows Me' being their most recent LP) and such hits like 'Ohio Is For Lovers', 'Miki Fm', 'The Transition', 'Silver Bullet', 'Blue Burns Orange' and 'Life On Standby', this is a tour any emo kid (young or old) can't miss.

Adds Armor For Sleep: "Australia! We are PUMPED to announce we will be headed to you in April for the first time ever to play some very special shows with our good friends in Hawthorne Heights! Can't wait to see you all soon!"

On Friday Armor For Sleep release their new studio album 'There Is No Memory', which was recorded with Sam Guaiana (Silverstein, The Devil Wears Prada, Between You and Me) – a collection of songs that force the listener to question the very nature of their existence, of what makes us the people we are.

Tickets on sale from 9am (local time) on 7 November.
