Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Attention music lovers – a jam-packed October is headed your way, as a selection of artists from this year’s Harvest Rock in Adelaide head out for a selection of sideshows.

The Harvest Rock sideshows are made up of the cream of the crop of this year’s line-up, and are ripe and ready for the picking!

Genre-defying musician, style renegade and visionary artist Santigold is the first artist punters can get excited to check out this year. Santigold has collaborated with the likes of Jay Z, Karen O and Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Beastie Boys, David Byrne, Mark Ronson, Pharrell, Lykke Li and Basement Jaxx. . . To name a few. She’s had a #1 record on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic chart and is infamous for her live performance style.

Nearly 20 years into their careers are Montreal natives Dave 1 and P-Thugg, better known as the world-renowned Chromeo. Fans love their analog synth sonics, catchy hooks and iconic visuals, and they’re often credited for pioneering the ‘80s tinged electro funk heard on radio airwaves today.

The Lemon Twigs are the New York locals who bounded on to the scene with their precocious 2016 debut ‘Do Hollywood’ at the tail end of their teenage years. The brothers each play multiple instruments including guitar, keyboard, drums, horns and strings. The Lemon Twigs released their fourth album ‘Everything Harmony’ in May of this year, so audiences can get excited to witness the album live in these sideshows.

Finally, legendary pop pioneers brings their spectacular live show to Australia for the first time since 2001. Ron and Russell Mael have had many incarnations over their 26 albums. . . From art rock, glam, electro-disco and new wave to synth-pop. Just like their 50-year history, their fanbase spans generations too.

Tickets are on sale 25 August at 9am.
