Halloween Hysteria 2021 Line-up

Update - 21 September, 2021: A message from the promoter: 'Halloween Hysteria 2021 was set to be the loudest party to cap off the spine-chilling season. Many of you may have been concerned if it was to go ahead, amid lingering border restrictions and lockdowns. Our answer is a resounding YES! Just not in 2021. In consultation with our legendary bands, awesome venue crew, and our industry friends, we've made a collective decision to move Halloween Hysteria to 2 April, 2022.'

A celebration of some of the loudest punk, metal and alt-rock bands Australia has to offer, thrashing about together on the same bill... welcome to Halloween Hysteria, which returns to Brisbane in 2021.

Aussie rock royalty Spiderbait will co-headline alongside hard rock stalwarts Mammal and thrashcore devil-beasts King Parrot. The 2021 edition also marks the first time Halloween Hysteria (23 October) will be staged at the Mansfield Tavern.

"Very pumped to announce we are coming to Brisbane for Halloween Hysteria," Mammal says. Adds King Parrot: "Brisbane! Happy to announce we'll be back for Halloween Hysteria once again."

In addition to these headliners, Halloween Hysteria features another 30-odd bands spanning every heavy genre: modern metal (Flaming Wrekage, From Crisis To Collapse); 'core of every hardness and deathness (Stepson, DisKust, Gravemind, Captives); stoner jams (Black Rheno, Hammers); horns n' beer raising rock (JJ Speedball, Smoking Martha, RedHook); old-school thrash (Harlott), tripped-out punk rock (Something Something Explosion, These New South Whales); Brissie supergroups (Total Pace); and raucous punk (Flangipanis, FANGZ, We Set Signals).

"See you in October, Brisbane! (Bam-ba-lam)," Gravemind says. "This is gonna be rather LARGE!" adds RedHook says.

"OI BRISBANE! Did you see this line-up? I'm gonna chuck a crowd surf during 'Buy Me A Pony'! SICK AS!" declares FANGZ. "Let's get spooky this October. Stoked to be coming back for Halloween Hysteria 2021 this year in our home town of Brisbane," Stepson says.
