Canada's Half Moon Run — currently riding high on industry buzz and glowing praise from the liks of NME, Brooklyn Vegan and Mumford & Sons' Ben Lovett — will start 2013 in Australia.
It's likely to be a good year for the Montreal trio. Their debut LP, Dark Eyes, gets a worldwide release in March; while first single 'Full Circle' has already racked up 300,000 views on YouTube and attracted the attention of BBC1's Zane Lowe and LA radio station KCRW.
All aged between 20 and 24, the band are known for their instrument swapping and complex arrangements; blending delicate guitar lines three-part harmonies and splashes of electronica.
